David is an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) professional with over 15 years of experience leading ED&I initiatives in addition to a long career in community engagement, customer relations and project management. Currently working in professional services, David has also held professional roles in the global energy sector as well as UK occupational health care that provides him with a unique understanding and knowledge around the challenges businesses face.

Specialising in the development of employee networks structure, improving effectiveness and empowerment and creating awareness training for employees including effective allyship methods that implement effective and pragmatic inclusion solutions.

David also has experience with managing the relationship between organisations and communities, understanding this is a complex responsibility but can be successfully delivered when focusing on capability, commitment and contribution.

His working style is accessible, open and honest while providing access to his extensive knowledge on ED&I subjects in an assured and friendly way. David is a qualified football coach and manager to a successful pan-disability football team and is also a board member for Proud Royals, Reading FC’s official LGBTQ+ supporters’ group.
