Ashley Samuels is a Social Value Manager at Maximus UK, where they lead impactful initiatives that support inclusion, community wellbeing, and opportunities for underrepresented groups.
I have a particular passion for supporting LGBTQ+ inclusion and have played an active leadership role within MaxPride, the company’s LGBTQ+ employee network.
I have contributed to awareness campaigns including Pride Month, World AIDS Day, and LGBTQ+ History Month, and has collaborated closely with organisations such as AKT to support LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness.
In recognition of their work, Ashley was awarded the MaxPride Trailblazer Award for championing visibility, allyship, and a culture where colleagues feel safe to be themselves.
Driven by lived experience and a deep commitment to equity, Ashley brings empathy, authenticity, and practical insight to panels, programmes, and discussions focused on belonging and inclusion. They are passionate about creating environments where every voice is valued, and where diverse identities are recognised as a strength.
