Lawrence Heming is a senior member of the Morgan Stanley Diversity & Inclusion Centre of Excellence, where he focuses on firmwide diversity initiatives, data and regulatory reporting, cultivates client engagement and oversees D&I marketing & communications across the region. He also serves as a strategic adviser to the firm’s employee resource groups (ERGs), helping shape inclusive culture and engagement across the organisation.
Prior to his recent D&I efforts, Lawrence built over a decade of experience in financial and professional services, at firms such as PwC, State Street, and EY. His work spanned financial management, business recovery, strategy and the execution of integrated brand, marketing and communications plans. He has also held leadership positions on regional ERGs, championing employee voices and driving meaningful action.
Lawrence’s contributions have earned him recognition as an Evenfields UK Black Talent Award nominee and a recipient of the EY Financial Services Diversity Role Model Award. He currently sits on the Advisory Board for Unite UnderOne and is an incoming leadership committee member for a global educational institution. Lawrence holds an MSc in International Management from King’s College London and a BA in Business Management from the University of Westminster.
